Аннотация
In accordance with UNESCO data, in most countries around the world educational institutions have been temporarily closed to slow the viral spread of the COVID-19 pandemic. These nationwide closures are impacting over 91% of the world’s student population: more than 1.5 billion students and youth across the planet are affected by school and university closures. To support countries in scaling up the best distance learning practices for quality, inclusive and equitable education, UNESCO launched the Global Education Coalition that is a call for coordinated and innovative action of partners, including international organisations, the private sector, non-profit organisations and mass media. Being a part of the UNESCO education team, UNESCO Institute for Information Technologies in Education invited its partners to join the Initiative on “Combat COVID-19: Keep learning. Together we are on the move!” aimed to provide a communication platform for all stakeholders to share experience in responding to this new emergency, and provide recommendations and technical support. Recognizing the global scale and acuity of the current challenges, UNESCO Institute for Information Technologies in Education organizes a Round Table “Building More Resilient Education Systems: Innovative Experience and Lessons Learned during the COVID-19 Pandemic” within the Moscow International Educational Fair 2020. The Round Table is aimed to discuss: · The response of education systems to the pandemic and related closure of educational institutions: which online practices and solutions would suit better for the post-crisis period · Various “after-shock” scenarios for the development of education systems from the resilience viewpoint · Transforming challenges into advantages: how lockdown might force countries to innovate to keep education systems afloat? · Approaches to converting educational innovations, including open educational resources and practices, into the long-term strategies for schools, vocational and higher education · The skills teachers and students need such as adaptability, emotional and behavioral self-regulation, collective online learning · Inclusive online learning environments under COVID-19 pandemic.
